Cornuda Supports Vulnerable Groups Through Community Project

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of senior citizens and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing oversight and coordination services among the various involved components.
