Cornuda Supports Vulnerable Groups through Local Community Project

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved several representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed by regional and community funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meeting and solidarity.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
