Agreement in Cornuda

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social integration and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing monitoring services and coordinating among the different involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.

Overall, the agreement represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at protecting and enhancing the quality of life of the most vulnerable people.
