Costaripa Unveils Premium Rosé Valtènesi RosaMara 2025

Valtènesi’s RosaMara 2025, a rosé from Costaripa, is based on an early harvest in 2025, with grapes handpicked at dawn due to an unusually warm spring and summer. The blend includes Groppello Gentile (50%), Marzemino (30%), Sangiovese (10%), and Barbera (10%) from vines over 25 years old on gravelly, clay-rich soils.

The wine undergoes a traditional vinification using only free-run juice (mosto fiore), with 50% fermented and aged in small 228-liter oak barrels for six months. It displays a pearl pink color, with aromas of vineyard peach, red berries, pomegranate, and floral notes. On the palate, it is dry, vibrant, and saline, recommended with seafood and Mediterranean salads.
