The Lombardy Region has announced the funding of 10 projects in the Brescia area through the cultural funding program, dedicated to the enhancement of cultural and educational heritage. With a total investment of 233,120 euros, the projects range from archaeology, with contributions for research in Prevalle and Vione, to initiatives for libraries, such as the transformation of the “Margherita Biondi” Library in Darfo Boario Terme into a multifunctional cultural hub. Other significant interventions include the creation of a Digital Ecomuseum in Botticino and the enhancement of the cycling and walking route along the via Karolingia.
The regional assessor for Culture, Francesca Caruso, emphasized the importance of these initiatives in strengthening local cultural identity and generating growth opportunities. The funding program aims not only to finance initiatives but also to actively engage communities in the preservation and promotion of their tangible and intangible heritage, thus confirming Brescia as a key player in the Lombard cultural scene.
