The new festival “Garda – A Lake in Celebration” is set to launch, an exciting cultural event that, starting in 2026, will involve the main municipalities along the three shores of Lake Garda. Conceived by Giordano Bruno Guerri, president of the Vittoriale degli Italiani, the festival represents the evolution of the “GardaLo!” initiative and aims to create an unprecedented cultural network. The inaugural zero edition will take place on June 29, 2025, at the Vittoriale, featuring an afternoon of free events that will include special guests and four thematic sections: literature, youth, innovation, and entertainment. This preview will also introduce a section dedicated to Garda food and wine events, showcasing the culinary excellence of the region.
The collaboration between the Vittoriale degli Italiani, the Community of Garda, and GardaMusei marks a significant step towards a unified vision of Gardesana culture. Mariastella Gelmini, president of the Community of Garda, emphasized the importance of enhancing local identities through this project, while Mauro Carrozza from GardaMusei highlighted how the festival symbolizes the artistic and cultural richness of the lake. This initiative aims to transform the lake into a widespread and permanent stage, promoting not only culture but also Made in Italy around the world.
