A serious incident involving a 58-year-old cyclist occurred in Ponti sul Mincio late Thursday morning. The man, while riding his bicycle along via San Nicolò, suffered a sudden illness, losing his balance and falling onto the asphalt. The situation quickly prompted emergency services, with an ambulance from the Soccorso Azzurro and a medical car from Mantova arriving on the scene, alongside the carabinieri to conduct the necessary investigations.
After receiving initial care from the medical staff, the severity of the cyclist’s condition necessitated the intervention of an air ambulance from Brescia. The man was then transported in critical condition to the Spedali Civili of Brescia, where he is currently hospitalized in serious condition.
