D’Annunzio Tribute at Vittoriale: Free Concert and Charity Drive
The Vittoriale degli Italiani will host “Omaggio a d’Annunzio nell’azzurro” on Sunday, June 21, starting at 6:00 p.m., featuring the participation of Vittoriale President Giordano Bruno Guerri and Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. S.A. Antonio Conserva. The program will culminate with a free concert at 8:15 p.m. by the Fanfare of the 1st Air Region on the Vittoriale’s amphitheater, as part of an event linked to the summer solstice and World Music Day.
During the evening, the interactive hologram update “AvaDa 2.0” will be inaugurated at Casa Cama, and the acquisition of the “Carteggio Giovanni Rizzo” will be presented, including 80 letters, mostly unpublished. The event will also unveil volumes including Angelo Piero Cappello’s “Il santo e il poeta. Mito e rito di Francesco in Gabriele d’Annunzio” and Maria Grazia Bella’s “Io, Marcello Dudovich. La mia vita tra sogno e realtà.” The Fanfare, conducted by First Chief Marshal Orchestral Massimiliano Picca, will close the night with free entry and will support the charity project “Un Dono dal Cielo” for the Giovanni XXIII Children’s Hospital in Bari, the San Pietro Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Rome, and the Buzzi Foundation in Milan.
