On May 3, 2025, the Vittoriale degli Italiani celebrated the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Prioria to the public with a special event attended by the Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli. During the event, an innovative hologram of Gabriele d’Annunzio was inaugurated, allowing visitors to interact with a digital representation of the poet. The president of the Vittoriale, Giordano Bruno Guerri, emphasized the historical significance of this anniversary and the cultural continuity it represents, highlighting the restorations carried out on the Prioria and the new technologies introduced to enhance the visitor experience.
The hologram, part of the AVaDa project (Digital Avatar of d’Annunzio), was developed through a multidisciplinary approach that integrates neuroscience and artificial intelligence. In addition to the hologram, Casa Cama also features 3D viewers to explore areas not accessible to the public. These initiatives aim to pay tribute to d’Annunzio’s figure through direct and immersive interaction, continuing to promote Italian culture in the contemporary context.
