Desenzano, alert for GPL leak and Firefighters intervention

A **liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) leak** alert was issued in the early afternoon today in **Desenzano**, specifically in the cemetery area, where a tank at a Keropetrol gas station showed signs of leakage. The emissions of liquefied gas, which flowed into several manholes, prompted authorities to act swiftly. The **firefighters** from Castiglione and Salò arrived on the scene, along with Carabinieri, police, and local law enforcement.

To ensure the safety of citizens, the roads surrounding the gas station have been closed, and a specialized Nbcr team, experts in nuclear, biological, chemical, and radiological interventions, is expected to arrive. There is also consideration being given to the possibility of emptying the tank from which the leak is believed to have originated. The operation is currently underway to contain the situation and prevent further risks.
