Desenzano is preparing to host another exciting event with the Song of the Star, a Christmas tradition that enriches the historic center. On Saturday, December 4th, at 5:30 PM, the wandering “shepherds,” led by maestro Gigi Bertagna, will depart from the Roman Villa for a route that will take them to the Old Port. This event celebrates the journey of the Three Wise Men to the manger of Jesus, featuring traditional songs of the festive season. The celebration will continue until January 5th in Vaccarolo, thus concluding the holiday festivities.
The Pro Loco of Desenzano has reported a positive balance for this year and has seen an increase in collaborations with local associations. Fabrizio Pedercini, president of Pro Loco, expressed satisfaction with the commitment of the volunteers and the inclusion of the association “Friends of the Old Port,” which contributed to the creation of a floating nativity scene. Starting today, visitors will also be able to admire the Magi in the nativity scene, completing the nativity in anticipation of Epiphany. With enthusiasm, Donata Bernardis announces the opening of membership for 2025 and the intention to further strengthen the presence of Pro Loco in the area.
