Desenzano Civic List Criticizes Mayor Anelli Over Broken Promises

It is a “moral distrust” towards Mayor Cino Anelli and the Municipal Council expressed by “Desenzano Nuova”: the civic list that was already part of the majority and received around 250 votes in the last elections.

Its coordinator, Silvano Abate, from Rivoltella, now feels resentful. “The agreement arising from a programmatic accord signed on June 1st, 1998, has not been respected: public order, nomads, police detachments in Rivoltella, preferential hiring of residents, beach cleanliness, and sewer systems — we made specific requests in these areas, and this administration has not fulfilled its promises.”

Differences between the majority and the civic list

“Big projects,” continues Abate, “are not useful for residents; the constant changes of direction following the demands of this or that new political group are indicative of a complete lack of political planning. Today, there are ongoing conflicts within the majority, and the parties that form it (An and Fi) must take responsibility. Their internal factions have completely paralyzed Desenzano.”

A statement with particularly harsh tone, in short, which effectively marks the divorce between this civic list (which, we reiterate, had supported the Anelli administration at the elections that led to the current municipal council) and the majority.

In Rivoltella, they already knew everything: the latest decisions regarding territorial planning here were not well received.
