Desenzano del Garda: Art Club Disco files an appeal with the TAR after closure. The renowned nightclub has announced its intention to contest the order issued by the Brescia Police Headquarters, which mandated a 20-day closure starting July 1, citing serious public order and public safety issues. Police Chief Paolo Sartori implemented this measure in response to a series of violent incidents, including brawls and assaults, some of which involved minors.
The representative of the establishment, Francesco De Salvia, stated that the appeal aims to protect Art Club Disco’s commitment to promoting legality and safety for both patrons and residents. The ownership has already invested in significant security measures, such as the installation of 84 cameras and hiring specialized staff. Furthermore, additional improvements to external surveillance are planned, and a “safety protocol” will be requested from the Police Headquarters to ensure compliance with the necessary regulations to protect the local community.
