Desenzano del Garda: construction of new swimming pools begins

In January, Desenzano del Garda will commence construction on new swimming pools within a modern municipal swimming center, with a total investment of 14.5 million euros. The administration has officially signed an agreement with the temporary business association responsible for the development and management of the facility, which includes the demolition of the current structure and the construction of three indoor 50-meter pools, wellness areas, and outdoor spaces immersed in greenery. The laying of the foundation stone is expected to take place right after the holidays, with an estimated completion time for the works ranging from 18 to 24 months. Mayor Guido Malinverno emphasized the importance of this project in enhancing the services offered to the community and promoting greater energy efficiency. Councillor Giovanni Maiolo added that the new center will be designed to meet the current and future needs of citizens, while the sports councillor Pietro Avanzi highlighted how this initiative will contribute to improving the quality of life in the area.
