The Committee “Let’s Keep Desenzano Hospital” has once again written to the President of the Assembly of Mayors of the Garda District 11, Dr. Luisa Lavelli, requesting the convening of the assembly and the organization of a public meeting. This is the third communication sent, following the initial requests made on February 7 and March 7, 2025. The Committee denounces an “institutional silence” that has lasted for over two months, which they consider unacceptable from a democratic standpoint, as it prevents citizens from being informed and involved in decisions regarding local healthcare services.
In light of this situation, the Committee has also decided to involve the Ombudsman of Lombardy, emphasizing the importance of legality and active citizen participation in decisions related to the Desenzano del Garda Hospital. Additionally, a request has been sent to the General Director of ASST Garda to ensure compliance with regulations and transparency in decision-making processes.
