ASST Garda has announced its initiatives for the national campaign “Open Cardiologies 2025”, an event dedicated to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases that will take place from February 10 to 16, 2025. During this week, the organization will host a series of training sessions to raise awareness about heart health issues. The first meeting will be held on February 10 at 2:30 PM, focusing on gender cardiology and specifically aimed at women, at the pre-birth training room in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department of the local facility.
Other events will include a meeting on “Heart and Drugs” on February 11 at 8:00 AM at the IISS L. Bazoli – M. Polo institute, an in-depth discussion on heart failure on February 12 at 4:00 PM at the Social Center in Desenzano, and a public awareness session titled “Cardiovascular Disease Prevention: Keeping the Heart Young” on February 14 at 6:00 PM in the Brunelli Hall of the municipal building. Additionally, citizens will be able to contact a toll-free number from Monday to Friday to ask questions to the cardiologists participating in the initiative.
