Five job positions are available at the Local Police of Desenzano del Garda. The city, a famous tourist destination on Lake Garda, is preparing for the arrival of the summer season and needs reinforcements to cope with the increase in tourist-related activities.
The five available positions are full-time but temporary, with a seasonal contract. The announcement for the public competition has already been published and applications can be submitted until April 17th through the inpa.gov.it portal.
The new hires will be responsible for administrative, operational, and logistical activities related to the police and surveillance. They will be involved in the verification of reports and violations, as well as interventions to ensure public safety.
To apply, it is necessary to be between 18 and 45 years old, physically fit for the job, possess a driver’s license, and meet the mandatory requirements for carrying firearms. In case one or more of the first five selected candidates decline the job offer, a ranking list will be used to select replacements. The oral exam is scheduled for Monday, April 22nd.
The seasonally hired officers will be placed in the “Instructors Area,” according to the national collective agreement for their category.
