Desenzano History in Postcards: Cipriani’s Exhibition at Palazzo Todeschini

Memories of Other Times, images of lived experiences, glimpses that no longer exist. A stroll down memory lane, patiently created by Lorenzo Cipriani from Desenzano, which has become an exhibition, set up in the Galleria civica di Palazzo Todeschini, under the patronage of the Department of Culture.

Description of the Exhibition and Subjects

It is a rich collection of postcards (around three hundred) in black and white and in color, covering the period from 1898 to 1950. Organized by themes, they are displayed in groups: villas, village views, our pilots, old cellars, washerwomen, peasant life.

A true figurative anthology of Desenzano and our lake. The exhibition, a pleasant surprise, is receiving high praise and well-deserved recognition from the public, which consistently and increasingly applauds this beautiful initiative.

Opening Hours and Visit Details

The free visiting hours are: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., until Sunday, March 25.

It is a rare collection of very unique historical postcards, as Cipriani explains with a touch of pride, started about ten years ago.

In short, a show that deserves attentive viewing.
