The Committee for the Desenzano Hospital has raised concerns regarding the management of communication by the Mayor and President of the Assembly of Mayors of the Garda Area 11. In a statement, the committee criticized the lack of democratic and transparent dialogue, highlighting that no responses have been provided to the official requests submitted, including one for a public assembly to be held by the end of September. Despite promises made during a meeting following the sit-in on May 19, silence has once again prevailed.
Today, the Committee reiterated the necessity of a public meeting before the crucial decisions that will be discussed at the Technical Table on the hospital scheduled for November. The situation has been deemed unacceptable by the committee, which accuses the institutions of excluding citizens from meaningful engagement. With over 8,000 residents involved, the Committee is preparing to take legal action if necessary to protect the rights of citizens and ensure active participation in the management of the Desenzano Hospital.
