Desenzano Implements New New Year Restrictions to Ensure Public Safety
Desenzano del Garda has issued an ordinance restricting the sale and consumption of glass bottles, cans, and pyrotechnic materials during New Year’s Eve celebrations in the city center. The measures, effective from 7 p.m. on December 31 until 6 a.m. on January 1, aim to enhance safety during the festivities.
The restrictions include bans on drinking beverages in glass or can containers in Piazza Matteotti, as well as prohibiting the introduction of glass, cans, spray cans, fireworks, and blunt objects into the event area. Local bars and restaurants are also barred from serving drinks in glass or cans on outdoor terraces or outside their premises.
