Desenzano: New Initiatives to Enhance Accessibility and Safety. The municipality has launched a series of targeted projects aimed at improving accessibility and road safety, with particular focus on eliminating architectural barriers. Recently, a project was completed on via Grigolli, via Malaguti, and via Minelli, involving an investment of 300,000 euros. The interventions included the reconstruction of sidewalks and the creation of new parking spaces, as well as the conversion of certain road sections to one-way to optimize local traffic management.
This project is part of a broader urban redevelopment plan that has already seen significant investments in other areas of the city, totaling over one million euros. Giovanni Maiolo, the Councilor for Public Works, emphasized that such initiatives are crucial for ensuring that all citizens, including those with disabilities and the elderly, can move safely and independently within the municipality. Further interventions are planned in the coming months to continue enhancing urban infrastructure.
