Desenzano Issues Urgent PFAS Warning with Public Meeting on Persistent Pollutants

A public meeting on PFAS pollution will take place on April 22 at Villa Brunati in Desenzano, organized by Club Soroptimist Garda Sud and the municipality. The event aims to raise awareness about the dangers of PFAS, dubbed “eternal pollutants,” and will feature expert speakers including Luca Cecchi, Giovanni Beghini, and Isabella D’Isola.

The discussion will focus on the environmental and health risks associated with PFAS contamination, with topics covering their persistence and impact on local communities. The event is open to residents, institutions, and stakeholders to facilitate information sharing and technical understanding.
