Desenzano Launches Tree Heritage Census with Agronomy and Forestry Experts

Desenzano del Garda has launched a comprehensive tree inventory involving agronomists and forestry experts to assess the urban green assets. The initiative aims to improve safety, environmental protection, and urban planning by collecting detailed data on tree health, structure, and safety conditions.

The project, endorsed by Mayor Guido Malinverno, seeks to support sustainable management of the city’s green spaces, prioritizing public safety, infrastructure protection, and green conservation. The municipality has emphasized community cooperation and expects the data will facilitate targeted maintenance and preservation efforts.
