Desenzano: Towards the Opening of the Third Municipal Nursery. 22 Spots Still Available In preparation for the 2025/2026 educational year, the Municipality of Desenzano has officially announced the opening of its third municipal nursery, located on Via Durighello in Rivoltella. Recent renovation works have involved an investment of approximately one million euros to ensure seismic upgrades and the creation of modern, functional environments, including multifunctional spaces and equipped green areas. With this new facility, the total capacity of the city’s three nurseries will reach 115 spots, with 56 available in the new nursery.
Currently, there are 22 spots open at the new nursery, for which an announcement will soon be published that may attract families from outside the municipality as well. After the closure of the application period on March 19, a total of 99 applications were submitted (79 from residents and 14 from non-residents), all of which were accepted without waiting lists. Mayor Guido Malinverno emphasized that this initiative represents an important step towards making Desenzano more family-friendly, providing safe and sustainable facilities for the well-being of children. Monthly fees range from €126.50 to €527 for residents; the INPS nursery bonus and the “Nidi Gratis” initiative for local families are also available.
