Desenzano Prehistory Book by Raffaello de Marinis at Museum Event

The Museum Giovanni Rambotti of Desenzano del Garda. An introduction to the prehistory of Lake Garda is the title of the interesting book (published by the municipality with the involvement of the Regione) that will be presented tonight at 5:00 PM at Palazzo Todeschini.

Author and contents

The work is authored by Raffaello de Marinis (curator of the same museum and professor of prehistory and protohistory at the University of Milan) and aims to be a true introduction to the prehistory of the Benaco region and the territory of Desenzano and Lonato — explains the culture assessor Emanuele Giustacchini.

Objectives and topics covered

Through the themes illustrated in the individual sections of the museum, the book seeks to provide a comprehensive overview of local prehistory. University professors Giovanni Leonardi and Annalisa Pedrotti will also participate in the presentation.
