Desenzano’s municipal pools remain closed without construction activity for over two years since their total closure at the start of 2024. Opposition councilors have filed an inquiry requesting clarification on the delays and a definitive timeline for beginning renovation works.
The municipal administration cited bureaucratic reasons and additional feasibility checks as causes for the postponement, without providing a specific start date. If construction begins within a month, completion is projected for late 2027, raising concerns about the procurement process and potential cost overruns.
