Desenzano Summer Event Highlights Gianni Bella and CET Performers
One of the main events of the 2001 Desenzano summer is set to take place on Saturday evening, July 21, organized by the municipal administration of Desenzano in collaboration with the CET (European Center of Toscolano), the nonprofit association founded and directed by the renowned maestro Mogol.
Evening Details and Participants
After previous editions dedicated to Lucio Battisti and Domenico Modugno, this year’s selection has been for Gianni Bella with his recent major hits achieved with Marcella Bella and Adriano Cementano.
The same artist will perform, live, for the audience gathered in the auditorium created in the courtyard of Desenzano Castle, showcasing his best hits. As in previous years, the maestro, or rather, the poet Mogol, will also attend the evening, which will begin at 9:30 p.m.
On stage, in addition to Gianni Bella, will be the band “I Fiori d’acqua dolce” and the top students of the CET. The tourism councilor, Giuliano Garagna, expressed great satisfaction, noting that this splendid collaboration with both the “Center” and Mogol himself continues to strengthen.
The Toscolano Study Center and Its Sectors
The Centro Studi di Toscolano mainly operates in three sectors: Popular Culture, Medicine, and Environment, with the primary goal of contributing to the improvement of quality of life in modern contemporary society.
Among its various objectives, the Center also aims to help its best students to enter the professional field by forming musical groups, for which it organizes performances on behalf of public and private entities.
Training and Entry into the Entertainment Industry
“To date,” explain the officials of CET, “we have trained four groups already functioning independently, and two more are in preparation. Many of our artists have already entered working groups, becoming well-known and appreciated performers.
It’s not our habit to name names, although the school is proud of them, because the goal of CET is to achieve a good artistic level and we do not want to boost enrollment with false illusions of success.”
Some of these singers can therefore be heard and evaluated live during Saturday’s evening, introduced by Gabriella Germani.
