Desenzano Wins Trofeo Tridentina and Visconti with Nearly 50 Boats

The 59th Trofeo Tridentina and 52nd Trofeo Visconti concluded yesterday in Desenzano, Italy. Organized by Fraglia Vela Desenzano in collaboration with Yacht Club Parma and under the Italian Sailing Federation, the event featured nearly 50 boats across classes including Dolphin 81, Meteor, Fun, Asso 99, and ORC. After two light and inconsistent wind races on Saturday, no additional races were held on Sunday due to lack of wind.

In the largest class, Dolphin 81, Enrico Sinibaldi aboard El Moro won overall and took the Visconti Trophy. Other winners included Spring Time in Meteor, Kiss My Asso in Asso 99, Dulcis Banana in ORC overall, and Magica Giù in ORC R. The event’s prize-giving ceremony was held in Desenzano, with awards presented by officials and sponsors.
