Desenzano’s 2025 Tourist Tax Surpasses 2.1 Million Euros

Desenzano’s 2025 tourist tax generated over €2.14 million, based on 408,915 guests and nearly 1.2 million overnight stays. Approximately 87% of these stays were taxed, with July and August alone contributing more than €708,000, highlighting the importance of tourism revenue for the local economy.

The revenue was primarily driven by four-star hotels, which accounted for over €736,000, followed by three-star hotels and an increasing number of tourist apartments. Local officials confirmed the tax’s role in supporting tourism infrastructure, with funds allocated to events, urban decor, promotion, and services.
