Desenzano’s Roundabout Works to Finish by End of August

Desenzano del Garda says the new roundabout at the junction of Via Innocenta and Via Prato Maggiore is substantially complete and already open to traffic. The works carried out by the private developer as part of urbanisation charges include the planned roundabout infrastructure, underground utilities and the connection of public lighting, with only the application of the final wearing course remaining.

According to the construction firm, the remaining tasks involve work by the utility operators: completing a section of the sewer network near the roundabout and excavating on Via Prato Maggiore to connect a new electrical substation to the high-voltage grid. These interventions are scheduled for the coming weeks, after which final road resurfacing will be carried out, with completion expected by the end of August.
