In Desenzano del Garda, the ACLI Circle has launched a series of scientific events titled “Dialogue with the Universe,” aimed at deepening our understanding of the universe and its impact on everyday technologies. The first evening took place on October 29, featuring a talk by Professor Germano Bonomi, Full Professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Brescia and a researcher at CERN, who discussed antimatter in front of over 150 attendees, many of whom were young people.
Two additional meetings are scheduled: on January 14, 2025, at 8:45 PM, Professor Bonomi will speak about cosmic rays and their technological relevance; while on January 21, Professor Massimo Della Valle from the National Institute of Astrophysics will address the question of the existence of intelligent life in the universe. The events will be held at the Peler Hall of Palazzo Todeschini, located at Via Porto Vecchio 36 in Desenzano del Garda.
