Diego Angella and Nives Carobbio win the 13 Mile D’Annunzio Run

The sixth edition of the 13 Miglia D’Annunzio Run concluded with the victory of Diego Angella and Nives Carobbio. The event, organized by Advance Garda Team, introduced several new features this year, becoming part of the Challenge Trail Running UISP as the fifth stage. Additionally, it was live-streamed for the first time, allowing everyone present in the square in front of the Vittoriale degli Italiani to follow the race from different perspectives along the route.

The start and finish took place in the picturesque square in front of the Vittoriale degli Italiani, providing athletes and spectators with a unique backdrop. Approximately 120 participants took on the challenge of the 21 km race, while around 160 competed in the 10 km category.

In the men’s 21 km category, Diego Angella claimed victory with a time of 01:29:57, followed by Daniele Pasotti in second place with a time of 01:30:47, and Davide Bottarelli in third place with a time of 01:31:59.

In the women’s 21 km category, Nives Carobbio secured first place with a time of 1:51:47, followed by Roberta Schivalocchi in second place with a time of 1:57:12, and Cristina Bugnella in third place with a time of 2:01:20.

In the men’s 10 km category, Michele Massetti took the victory with a time of 38:23, followed by Michele Bertoletti in second place with a time of 39:24, and Stefano Ligasacchi in third place with a time of 39:29.

In the women’s 10 km category, Paola Battaglia claimed first place with a time of 45:20, followed by Vanessa Corsini in second place with a time of 48:37, and Monica Mostofolini in third place, finishing on par with Vanessa Corsini.

The day concluded with interviews with the winners Diego Angella and Nives Carobbio, who expressed their satisfaction with the victory and the excitement of participating in this prestigious competition.

The event was a success thanks to the impeccable organization of Advance Garda Team and the large participation of athletes. The beauty of the landscapes of the Garda hinterland made the experience even more unforgettable for all participants.
