Doctors with a Passion for Gospel Performances Supporting Charitable Causes

Doctors with their heads in music. This evening, the Animula Gospel Singers debut at the Castello di Torri park, at 9 pm, with free admission.

The group, composed of seven female voices and two males, features surgeon Fulvio Leopardi on piano, Mauro Negri, a medical analyst from Borgo Trento, on bass, and colleague Bobo Facchinetti on drums, also from the Verona hospital. Completing the band are Luca Roncoletta and Gabriele La Rosa, playing acoustic and electric guitar, respectively.

Characteristics and goals of the musical formation

The uniqueness of this musical group lies in being composed of doctors passionate about gospel music, dedicated to performing to raise funds for the most needy.

Engaged by the Lions Club Garda Benacus, led by Luigi Chiamenti, they agreed to perform for free around the Riviera degli Olivi with the aim of supporting Abeo (the Association for Hematological and Oncological Children).

Upcoming performances schedule

After Torri, the Animula Gospel Singers will continue their schedule in June with performances at the Gritti Hotel in Bardolino (Friday 23), in Brenzone at Castello (Sunday 25), and at the Pieve di Garda (Friday 30). In July, two more shows: in Peschiera (Friday 7) and Malcesine (Tuesday 18).

Information about the initiative

The initiative is sponsored by the Province of Verona and the Tourism Promotion Agency no. 12. Entrance to the concerts is free, while the proceeds from the donations during each evening will be entirely donated to Abeo.
