Dog Rescued From Canal by Firefighters

A dog trapped in a canal near the intake grid of a hydroelectric power plant was rescued by firefighters on Tuesday afternoon in Prevalle, in Via delle Fucine. The alarm was reported to the provincial command operations room in Brescia, prompting an intervention by the Salò detachment.

Firefighters reached the animal and recovered it safely using flood and river rescue techniques and equipment. The operation ended without injuries, and the dog was handed over to ATS staff for health checks and the care needed.
