Dog seizure in Sirmione: aggressive Rottweilers and social dangers
In **Sirmione**, a pair of **aggressive Rottweilers** have been seized following yet another attack that prompted intervention from the health authority (Ats). The two dogs, frequently left free and without muzzles, had become a source of concern for residents in Lugana, where they severely attacked an Alaskan Malamute and injured its owner near the Migross supermarket. Following the complaint received and testimonies on social media highlighting the dangerous situation, the Carabinieri carried out the seizure, and the Rottweilers were taken to a kennel in Desenzano. Currently, the dogs are under observation to assess the possibility of rehabilitation. Their owner may face charges for injuries and claims for damages. While some defend the animals, emphasizing the owner’s responsibility in their upbringing, others express concern for the welfare of the Rottweilers in the kennel. The president of the Compagni di Strada Association stated that a recovery plan is being developed, but warned that it will be challenging and costly, hoping for support from the municipality.
