Dom Tunnel Pier Stabilization on SS 240 Between Loppio and Val di Ledro

Galleria Dom is the subject of a below-EU-threshold negotiated procurement by the Province of Trento’s APAC, inviting participation for stabilization works on the road infrastructure along State Route 240 (Loppio-Val di Ledro) between km 19+650 and 20+350. The project, valued at more than €2.79 million, aims to enhance safety and preservation of the roadway; bids must be submitted by 12:00 on June 30, 2026, with award based on the lowest price and limited to invited operators.

The works cover a gallery of about 1,120 meters and involve stabilizing the piers and part of the vault, given the absence of an inverted arch at the base. Designed in three phases, they include vault cavity consolidation, securing the vault with stainless steel protective nets, and bolting the piers with around 600 anchors of 18 meters each, for a total development exceeding 10 kilometers. The project was designed by the Province’s Road Management Service with external specialist support and has a duration of 465 natural and consecutive days.
