An unusual incident occurred in Castel Goffredo, where a patrol of Carabinieri was rear-ended while conducting a check on Provincial Road 8 towards Casaloldo. The episode took place in the early hours of Sunday, October 20, when the officers had stopped a 52-year-old motorist for driving under the influence. Another vehicle, driven by a 19-year-old from the area, lost control and collided with the Carabinieri’s car.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, but both drivers faced the suspension of their driving licenses for driving under the influence. The Carabinieri from Goito arrived on the scene to manage the situation and assess the significant damages sustained by the vehicles involved.
