E-bike accident in Brenzone: Lorenzo Veronesi, 26, dies
A serious accident occurred in the early afternoon of Monday, September 1st, in Magugnano, a locality in Brenzone, claiming the life of 26-year-old Lorenzo Veronesi, a local resident. The incident took place around 3:30 PM along Regional Road 249, while Veronesi was riding his e-bike. For reasons still under investigation, he had a violent collision with a car driven by a tourist. Following the crash, the young man sustained a severe head injury and was airlifted to Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento, where unfortunately his condition rapidly deteriorated until he was declared brain dead.
The news has caused great sorrow in the local community, which has expressed numerous messages of condolence for Lorenzo’s family, also known for the public role of his father Aldo, a city councilor in Brenzone. The relevant authorities are now investigating the circumstances that led to this tragic event.
