Eliodoro Youth and Family Project Takes Off at In My Place
A project called **“In My Place”**, promoted by the social cooperative **Eliodoro ETS**, will be presented on **Wednesday, 26 August at 5:30 pm** in Riva del Garda. The event will take place in the **Dialogo dei Verbiti hall**, in **via Venezia 47**, and is open to the public, including volunteers interested in becoming facilitators for self-help groups.
The initiative includes **My Place**, an educational and relational space for **young people aged 16 to 30** experiencing social isolation, emotional difficulties, or challenges in building and maintaining meaningful relationships. Activities run **Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm** at the **Cantiere 26 inter-municipal youth center in Arco**. The service is **low-threshold** and not a healthcare service, day center, or after-school program; access is direct after an initial meeting, and participation can be independent, including for those who have previously completed community or socio-educational pathways, those withdrawing socially, or **NEET** young people who struggle to take part.
“In My Place” also features a **free, confidential psychological listening desk** for **caregivers and family members** of people with disabilities or serious vulnerabilities, offering support and guidance (not psychotherapy). The project is completed by **monthly self-help groups** in the Alto Garda family district—**Riva del Garda, Arco, Dro, Tenno, and Ledro**—with two separate paths for parents of minors and for families of adults, facilitated by trained leaders under psychological supervision.
