Acque Bresciane has recently engaged nearly seven thousand students in its environmental education activities in Rovato, highlighting the importance of water resources and sustainability. For the 2024-2025 school year, over 6,600 students participated in workshops, guided tours of purification plants, and special projects such as “The Value of Water in Our Hands,” in collaboration with the Cogeme Foundation and the Municipality of Rovato. This program saw more than 400 students involved in an educational journey culminating in the Provincial Water Day, held on May 24.
The initiative spans approximately 40 municipalities in the province of Brescia and also includes a traveling exhibition called “Blue Planet,” which has attracted the attention of over 120 classes. Pierluigi Toscani, President of Acque Bresciane, emphasized the importance of the project in restoring value to local areas through quality education. With a total of 85 classroom interventions and over 6,000 educational kits distributed, Acque Bresciane continues to promote a culture of sustainability among young citizens.
