EU Supports Organic Farming with Funding to Promote Eco-Friendly Agriculture
There is much talk about organic farming, seen as a superior means of safeguarding the environment and its natural resources. Article 2,078 concretely supports this view by allocating substantial funds to agricultural operators committed to the “good earth” and the environment, to the extent that the EU relentlessly provides appealing subsidies as bonuses to companies practicing agro-biodiversity, in order to implement an agricultural science aimed precisely at managing nature and its resources, not only as a means to produce foodstuffs.
Support and Objectives of Agricultural Policies
“Aid allocated to farmers with a strong environmentalist temper, more determined than ever,” say mayors and politicians, “aimed at using production techniques respectful of ecology and territorial protection.” The plan is supported by the Montana Community and involves Salò, Gardone Riviera, Toscolano Maderno, Tignale, Tremosine, Limone, Valvestino, Magasa, and Gargnano.
