Evening Hike on the Rio Caino Etnographic Trail to Cimego: Moonlit Stories and Traditions on July 24

A guided evening walk titled **“Al Chiaror della Luna”** will take place on **Friday, 24 July**, with a second session on **Friday, 21 August**, departing at **19:30** from the **Rio Caino Trail parking lot**. The event, organized by **Associazione La Fusina** in collaboration with **ALPI ASD**, runs near **Cimego** in the **Chiese Valley** and covers an approximately **5 km** route with limited elevation gain, including an intermediate stop and refreshments.

The walk follows an **ethnographic, museum-style path** tracing local history and traditions, with stops such as the **home of Fra’ Dolcino** and sites linked to past trades including **forges, sawmills, and charcoal burners**. Participants will also hear local stories and legends, including the **“witch of Cimego.”** **Mandatory booking** is required by **Thursday, 23 July** for the first date, and attendees are advised to bring trekking gear such as **hiking boots, trekking poles, a water bottle, and a headlamp**. Participation costs **€12**, covering guiding and refreshments.
