Palazzo Ducale Mantova presents the exhibition “Giovan Battista Scultori. Print engraver and excellent sculptor”, set up in the Camera di Bacco and in the Stanza delle Due Colonne of the Palazzina della Rustica. This new guided tour also offers the opportunity to admire the recently restored Cortile della Cavallerizza.

To allow the public to discover this interesting exhibition, Palazzo Ducale has organized guided tours every Saturday in the month of May (4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th). The tours are available at four different times: 9:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm, and 4:30 pm.

During the guided tour, participants will have the opportunity to cross the Loggia di Eleonora and the Corridore della Cavallerizza to reach the Palazzina della Rustica and visit the exhibition on Giovan Battista Scultori. Afterwards, they will descend to the ground floor of the Rustica to admire the rooms decorated during the time of Giulio Romano and enjoy a privileged view of the Cortile della Cavallerizza from a second observation point. The exit is planned from the Giardino dei Semplici.

Reservations are necessary to participate in the guided tours. To book, you can contact the infopoint of Palazzo Ducale at the number +39 0376 352100. Please note that reservations are mandatory for groups of at least 20 people.

The total duration of the visit is estimated to be about one hour and fifteen minutes. The cost of the educational ticket to participate in the guided tour is €5. However, those who already have a regular museum ticket or a subscription will be able to participate in the tour for free.

The meeting point for the guided tours is at the entrance of Piazza Castello. It is important to note that the route has some architectural barriers.

For further information and reservations, you can contact the infopoint of the Museum at the number +39 0376 352100, active from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Palazzo Ducale Mantova thus offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in art and history through this exhibition dedicated to Giovan Battista Scultori, one of the great Italian artists of the time. Don’t miss the opportunity to discover this extraordinary cultural heritage in the heart of the city of Mantova.
