The work for the expansion of the changing rooms at the Dal Molin Sports Center in Desenzano del Garda has officially begun, with a total investment of 350,000 euros. The project involves the creation of new areas dedicated to changing rooms and administrative offices for the local rugby sports club, as well as aesthetic and energy improvements to the facility. The Public Works Councillor, Giovanni Maiolo, stated that the intervention aims to make the structure more modern and welcoming, meeting the needs of athletes and visitors.
The plan also includes spaces for user reception and refreshment areas, with a design focused on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. The new construction will be integrated with the existing grandstand, featuring large windows to ensure brightness and a view of the field. Maiolo emphasized that this project represents an important step towards the future of sports in the local community, highlighting the central role that sports play in social interaction and the education of young people.
