In Desenzano del Garda, three massage centers have been seized by the State Police and the Financial Police as part of an operation against prostitution exploitation. The intervention, which took place on August 6, 2025, uncovered erotic services being offered to clients in exchange for cash, with undeclared earnings exceeding 400,000 euros from 2020 to 2023. During the inspections, two undocumented workers were identified, one of whom was found to be illegal.
The owner of the establishments has been reported to the Judicial Authority for improperly receiving the Citizenship Income, failing to declare the income generated by his business. In addition to the seizure of the massage centers, a sum of 11,000 euros and a vehicle were also confiscated. The sanitary conditions within the premises were found to be poor, and irregularities concerning workplace safety were identified.
