Expulsions of irregular foreigners in Brescia: focus on public safety

A significant operation took place in Brescia, where law enforcement expelled 16 irregular foreign nationals with criminal records for serious offenses, including theft and sexual violence. These actions are part of an intensified effort to monitor the territory, coordinated by the Brescia Police Headquarters under the direction of Chief of Police Paolo Sartori. In addition to those expelled, deportation orders were issued for another 31 foreign nationals lacking residence permits but with no criminal records, giving them a seven-day deadline to comply.

Simultaneously, the Immigration Office revoked or denied residence permits to 288 individuals who no longer met the necessary requirements to remain in the country. These measures were implemented as part of an initiative aimed at ensuring public safety and combating petty crime in the province. Chief Sartori emphasized the importance of such operations in maintaining high standards of legality and addressing the needs of the local community.
