Fatal accident on Corda Molle: victim in Castenedolo
A tragic road accident occurred today, Tuesday, August 5th, along the Corda Molle, on the stretch connecting Montichiari to Borgosatollo. Around 3:20 PM, a 60-year-old man riding his Vespa lost his life near the former Santa Giustina quarry, in the area of Castenedolo. According to initial reports, the rider suddenly lost control of the vehicle for reasons yet to be determined, without the involvement of any other vehicles, and fell to the ground with great force.
Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, including an ambulance, a medical response vehicle, and a helicopter rescue team from Brescia; however, all attempts at resuscitation proved futile, and the man reportedly died on impact. The Brescia traffic police arrived to manage traffic and initiate the necessary investigations to accurately reconstruct the circumstances of the accident.
