A tragic head-on collision occurred today, June 3, 2024, around 12 PM on Provincial Road 236 between Castiglione delle Stiviere and Brescia. The accident took place near Sterilgarda in the municipality of Castiglione delle Stiviere. A 61-year-old man lost his life, while another 45-year-old man traveling in the other involved car was transported to Castiglione hospital by helicopter in yellow code.
Carabinieri from Castiglione delle Stiviere, firefighters from Mantova, ambulances, and emergency medical services from Soccorso Azzurro and 118 in Brescia responded to the scene of the accident.
