Father Angelo Perlato: funerals and memories in Nuvolera
Father Angelo Perlato, the long-serving parish priest of Nuvolera, has passed away at the age of 75. The funeral home has been set up at the Church of Suffrage in the municipality, where the faithful can pay their respects. The body will be moved to the parish church on Sunday, September 14, at 8:30 PM, for the vigil presided over by Monsignor Angelo Gelmini.
The funeral will take place on Monday, September 15, at 3 PM, with the ceremony officiated by Bishop Tremolada. Originally from the parish of Calvisano and born in 1950, Father Angelo held various pastoral roles over the years, including serving as curate in Virle Treponti and Palazzolo Santa Maria Assunta, as well as being the parish priest of Mazzano and Gardone Riviera. Since 2015, he had been the parish priest in Nuvolera and, from 2021, also the parish administrator of Nuvolento. After the funeral, he will be laid to rest in the cemetery of Calvisano.
