Feminicide in Castelnuovo del Garda: city mourning declared

Tomorrow, November 8, the funeral of Jessica Stappazzollo, the 33-year-old tragically killed by her partner in an incident of femicide that occurred in Castelnuovo del Garda, will take place. The funeral ceremony is scheduled for 10 AM at the Church of Santa Maria, as announced by the family, who chose to hold the final farewell in the municipality where Jessica lived. After the funeral, her remains will be transported to Brazil for burial. In a show of respect and solidarity, Mayor Davide Sandrini has declared a day of mourning for tomorrow, with flags flown at half-mast. The community is also mobilizing through a fundraising effort to support the family with funeral expenses.
